Founded in 1969 by the great freedom fighter, Pt. Rajkishor Tiwari, who had also been elected a Member of Legislation Assembly (MLA) twice, from the region, the college is affiliated to Veer Bahadur Purvanchal University, Jaunpur. Through its multifaculty structure, the college, besides Arts, Science and Commerce and B.Lib has a well - furnished B.Ed. and B.T.C. faculty.
